November 16 represents the half-way point in the time allotted for this first season of the FOG Digital League. The completion rates for the three main sections are as follows (each division has 45 matches to be played) . . .

So you can see from these figures that we have done very well in terms of getting the matches played. Even the slowest division (Classical Antiquity A) is still on target to finish on time. The tournament committee would like to thank everyone for their efforts so far and let's hope that we can get all the remaining matches completed by the 31/12 deadline.

Recruitment for Season 2 will start on Monday 6th January 2014 and the season will open on Saturday 1st February 2014.

The basic format of the league will be the same except that we will be running a second pool for the themed event that will be for players rated outside the top 25 or so in the FOG Digital ratings. The themed event for Season 2 will be based on armies from Classical Antiquity. If we get more than the 40 entrants for the main historical sections next time then we will run five or six divisions instead of four.

Those of you who were "new" players this time and restricted to just two sections will be able to enter as many sections as you like next time provided you complete all your scheduled matches in Season 1.
