Game quits on victory/defeat on linux 64bit

I would expect it to return to the menu after displaying a victory defeat dialogue box. Instead it immediately quits. I am not sure if this is a crash or a silent quitting.

It is probably a bug, I didn't notice anything like this on my Debian 64-bit.

I you have a savegame a few turns before victory/defeat, try to launch the game in a console, load your savegame, and reproduce the crash.
Then you should be able to see if anything in the console tells you what went wrong.
