Passing through deviating to new target 2 mus

Post by pugsville »

When doing a pass though move the rules say the pass though move is straight, Can the unit deviate to new target within 2 mu's like a charge move?

Does the cavalry unit conform before pass through or is line of the pass through determined by the line of the charge?

I don't have my rules with me, but reasonably confident.

You pass through, you do not conform before. And you must be completely through before you begin any variation.

Your cavalry is placed with its rear touching the opposite side is a square, so charge direction decides the pass through direction. Your pass through is straight ahead from this point. Any targets within 2 mu of this line can be veered into.
Remember that if you contact in the first half of a move you will fight again this turn, if in the second half you fight next turn.
