So my first 30 minutes or so with this game have been very pleasant and leave me wanting more.
*great music - really lays builds the atmosphere
*the attempted humour in the compendium does not fit the style of game - I refer to mentions of 4chan ect in backstories. I feel that humor is just out of place and overall detracts from the experience. Stick to the space opera vibe, its good no need for slapstick. I think most people who play this type of game would appreciate serious sci-fi, certainly I do.
*more factions - not enough IMO
* everything is nicely laid out, as I said very early impressions will update as I spend more time
Thanks for admission to the beta. Ive been looking forward to this title for sometime and so far it looks fantastic.

Dan here, the writer. Comments on the humour noted.
If you've got any specific feedback - say, if any lines particularly jar or don't work for you - please drop them into this thread and I'll look at them.

Dan, of loosely-affiliated-with-RPS-and-I'm-sure-other-awesome-endeavors fame?
I need to pay more attention. I had no idea you were involved in this project.
Back to my save from last night, where I will now be scrutinizing every word!
Why am I suddenly more excited about a spiritual successor to my Favorite Game of All Time now that I know you're penning the text? Should I seek medical help?

Hallo! Yes, mild internet fame. Adam from RPS tweeted that the developers needed a writer, so I volunteered. All sorts of fun ensued.
Please, scrutinise hard. I need good feedback. If it's too ponderous, or too silly, let me know!

I've enjoyed the written content thus far. Its a nice touch of detail that needs physical form in game.
