Rear Support V2

Post by Annatar »

Hi! I have a question regarding the rear support rule. Does "partly directly to the supported battle groups rear" also count for the corners of the supporting BG?

For example, in the frontline you have 3 BG with 4 Bases 2 wide 2 deep and 40mm gaps between them. In the second line you have 2 BG in column standing in the 2 gaps. Will they give rear support to the frontline BGs?

Hi there

I would say no if the gaps were exactly the width of the BG's doing the supporting. Part of the supporting BG needs to be directly behind the BG being supported.

Agreed. The gaps must be less than 40mm to ensure the supporting BGs are at least a gnat's todger behind the supported BGs.
