[SUGGESTION] Date display

Post by N_Molson »

Hello,

I think that the way the date is displayed is a bit confusing. It shows, for example, 1.1960, 2. 1960, 3.1960, 4.1960... That means that each turn is a trimester (3 months) and that you have 4 turns in the year, right ? So, IMHO, JAN 1960, APR 1960, JUL 1960, OCT 1960 would make much more sense.

Just my two cents, for what I think is an easy fix

Yes, something a bit more intuitive would be nice. Q1-4, months, seasons, something. :)

We only have 3 urns a year but we could date them by month to make it clearer.

Or we say Spring, Summer, Autumn and forget winter but that sounds odd so I think the best option is a 4 monthly real date e.g. March 1955, August 1955, November 1955.

Yes, seems good, though abreviations like Sep = September might be required for optimal iPhone compatibility.
