Infantry intercept charged by cavalry TEST?

Post by pugsville »

Infantry charges a unit, they are intercept charged by a cavalry unit, no defensive fire, no forming square, do the still take a CT for infantry charged in the open by cavalry?

An intercept is a move not a charge. So I would think no test.

They don't take the test, but the poa for infantry fighting mounted not in square applies so it will hurt your infantry. Got to keep an eye out for lurking horses.

Ouch! Last time I charged some froggies within 2 they decided to stand and shoot, even though they were now wavering. Ended opposite of your experience, the infantry were destroyed, no chance to even try a rally.
