Yes, "Birth of Rome" is a standalone version. So you can play it without having AJR.

You can order from any of those shops. Slitherine, Matrix Games and AGEOD are part of the Slitherine Group. The game versions will be the same.

The download links are only valid for a limited period of time. But you can ask, as many times as you want, for new download links and we will provide them. If you backup the installer file, for example, in a DVD, Flash USB pen drive or in an external HD, you can use that file later to install in a new PC or in a new Windows installation. The boxed editions are usually for those that like to collect box editions of the games or that have some issues with their Internet connection.
