Initial Impressions:
Nice factions - I feel like I'm back into Alpha Centauri. One concern - Why all leaders are so young? Could we change the portraits for someone lets say in mid 40's not 20's? And why they are so plastic! I would prefer to have a choice - renders OR drawn art.
Where are beloved voices? I don't know how much it would costs but if some quotes could be read by the readers.

Performance:
Is ok
I Play on old laptop with core2duo 2,2 Ghz processor and old 3650 512ram video card. So far no issues.Interface:
+ very clean, informative, if you played Civ you will feel like in home
- too generic, they are generally black boxes :/
Tech tree:
+ again clean informative design
- no voices??
It would really add the flavor if we would have voices here 
Gameplay:
So far feel that I do what I want to do, and have no problems figuring out where to click to do so
big kudos for that 30 minuts
Balance:
For now computer opponents don't do anything and they agree for everything.. I know I chosen easy difficulty but why they contacting me to offer credits without a reason?
Interface:
- I'm starting to hate black boxes and plastic portraits - no soul at all. You should really consider making drawn art.
Also if you add different picture for each type of military unit and alien unit in the in-game wiki that would really add flavor.
- In the Alpha Centauri all the menus were better designed you could really feel like this was part of some info panel/machine.
Gameplay:
+ I really like the options to produce growth.
+ Global pool of resource is nice idea - I will need more time to think & test all possibilities.

Nothing new. At the moment its not challenging at all. I think you should add comments in the beginning that if you are experienced CiV / Alpha Centauri player you should start at least at medium.
