Supply - City vs. Port

Post by canuckgamer »

I just want to clarify supply in regards to a city compared to a port. In the rules, its says that a city and a port both provide a maximum of medium supply. I assume that this why it does not matter that Cherbourg is not a port as it provides the same amount of supply because it is a city. I am thinking in historical terms as it was one of the objectives of the Normandy campaign. If Cherbourg did not provide supply then no player would ever invade Normandy, rather, further west with Brest being the objective.

Yes, Cherbourg will provide supply just fine.
