Recovering Steady Troops? Allowed?

Post by pugsville »

When you recover successfully you get to reform possibly changing facing. Can you attempt a recover on steady troops if successful change facing? You assults and while steady now how enemy on your flank could you use/abuse the rules to 'recover' steady troops to change facing?

This would be a formation change which would occur during your turn. Advanced planning would hopefully help to not end up in this situation. Just because you can assault something doesn't always mean its a good idea.

A steady unit has nothing to recover; so this would not be allowed.
