unable to initiate multiplayer

When I use multiplayer tab I get a box with a message to effect: disconnected from server, try again? yes/no, even if I am online and connected this web page.

any ideas how to fix this?

That sounds like what everybody who was using MP had experienced recently...

What many members did; Keep clicking the "YES" button, eventually, you should be able to signin, then do the same to download a match.

The "Matrix/Slitherine server", seems to have been operating OK for the past 4-5 days.
