UK Interest BHGS FoGR Rankings September '13

The BHGS website has been updated with the FoGR Rankings for September 2013.

Competitions included this time are:

Scottish League - April Round
Derby Worlds
Southern League Round 4
Northern Doubles League Round 4.

Please note that Derby Worlds were in October last year so both the 2012 and the 2013 events are currently counting. This will correct itself next month.

Big movers this time round are:

Alan Cutner whose ranking is based upon a comp where the first bout was only his second ever game of FoGR!
Tim Porter being back in the top 10
John Munroe achieving a well deserved career high top 12 ranking (if only Hunter had sent in the results from Square Go, John might have been top 10...) so lets have no more of this 'go gently with me, I am a lowly ranked player'...

crickey you mean I have inadvertently denied John a top ten slot and that its been occupied by the madaxeman instead? Oh woe is me, woe is me! Thank goodness John's only in it for the fun and is not worried about winning .............

I have double checked the numbers. You have denied John a top 10 placing. Even if John came last in a 2 man comp it still would have given him another 0.25 and taken him into 10th. If he had come 7th out of an 8 man competition he would have got enough points to be 8th.

Is it possible to feed in the Farnborough Shot Results into the Rankings ? I can provide a spreadsheet of results and the 16 people entered ?

Provided that it was a competition in the UK, using FoGR rules, and entry was not restricted (other than by numbers) it can be included if you send me the results (if you have the club name as well that helps make sure the correct person gets credited). Please send them to

I tend to do the rankings a week or two into the next month.

Hello Tim, It was open to anyone - though as a 1 dayer most attendees where from the South.
