Windowed mode

I love the game but in full screen, it messes up all my open windows and apps. I have two monitors so for some reason it moves all y open windows, like Outlook, Excel, over to my second screen. Then I have to move them all back every time I close out the game.

I tried playing in windowed mode, which keeps all my othe windows where they are supposed to be, but the window the game runs in cannot be resized, moved, and is stuck in the upper left courner of my main monitor. Plus it is really pretty small

Is they anything I can do to resize the game window and be able to move it when the game is in windowed mode?

The game engine is unfortunately hard coded to 1024 x 768 resolution. It's a major task to change that. All graphics will have to be redone for the increased resolution etc. So that is a limitation of CEAW. It's an old game and at the time it was made 1024 x768 was a often used resolution.

So when is the game going to be upgraded to support higher resolution capabilities

It won't with this game engine. Maybe Slitherine / Matrixgames will make CEAW 2 using a different game engine. The Lordz engine used for their WW1 Commander game seems like a good candidate.

Well I would be willing to pay for a newer version and/or an upgrade
