Just tried a game and received a message saying I had been locked out of my account, checked emails and have the message below.
Not happy at all after all the issues this weekend and now this.

This is absolutely shocking. Slitherine should refund his money at least if they have unfairly kicked him out. There have been multiple postings on this forum complaining of connection issues all week. You would think that someone at Slitherine would turn off the email warning system during such times.

I am absolutely disgusted at Slitherine.
My thoughts on the matter:
The majority of players within the BA community seem to either be strategists or enthusiasts. People of intellect and not your usual console rabble. Slitherine seems to have completely missed this point. They have treated us with complete contempt, now whether that is because BA2 is in the offing and the BA cash cow is now dry well time will tell. Considering the pricing of BA on both PC and Ipad and the fact there are NO FREE players on this game the absolute minimum we should have received is regular updates and resolution to the problem, with Pips interaction over the weekend I assume this was the path they were taking. Then we received silence, complete silence. Over the last few days the number posting problems has steadily increased with still no update from Slitherine.
I for one do not cheat, the ideology of this game is to make mistakes, the sway of battle is balanced on mistakes. I love the shock of moving my armoured column straight into the path of 88's and I believe the heart would be ripped from this game if I then reset and replayed so I avoided the onslaught. I love losing as much as I love annihilating my opponent, as long as there's been good action within the battle I take enjoyment. Now what has upset me more than anything is not the banning, or the server issues or the warning notices, it is the idea that I am a cheat. The central part of this BA community is building relations with your opponents and fellow game players, as trust plays a substantial part in our gameplay,and considering we live in a society where trust is a rare commodity, it makes the BA community that ever more special.
I have posted regular updates of the problems I have been facing with the Slitherine Servers, including screenshots of warning notices. I do not cheat, and I sincerely hope Slitherine that not only do you revolve the server issues as swift as possible to also post a complete apology to all your devoted BA followers, because I for one can tell you if this continues then here is one paying customer who will not be purchasing BA2 or any further expansion packs.

I am sorry to hear that this automated system has kicked in and I expect that it will soon be disabled until the underlying issues are resolved. It is clear to us that people receiving these messages during this disruption are not doing anything improper.
Support will be able to remove these erroneous locks ASAP when contacted.

Like Andrew said, that's a notification which is being automatically sent by the server itself.
No account is, or will be, locked. I'll ask our web admins if it's possible to disable the server notifications until the issue is finally fixed.

Many thanks Slitherine for your response and also the quick resolution. It now appears the banning issue is resolved and now I have access to my games again I can at least feed my addiction a little.
