Re: Derby World Teams 28/29 September
None of this matters
all that matters is that I will have people on horses again
everything else is irrelevant
I cannot wait
and if you play me do not be surprised if my troops move three times just because they can even if I don't send them anywhere useful
cheers

Thanks to Kevin for the organisation.
Thanks to all my opponents for enjoyable games, even if I did lose 3 of them.
Congrats to to various winners and special congrats to Ric Davey for 2nd place in Pool 3. Once again I decide not to bring my Tibetans and get beaten by the player that does.

Slight Excel glitch - I think Paul Freeman's score should be around 45, not 7.
Other than that, many thanks to Kevin for herding cats all weekend, to the team from Derby Wargames Associates for running the show, and to Martin whose role as ballast helped drive the rest of the team to individual glory.

Re: Derby World Teams 28/29 September
hi,
game 3 , pool 2 Me vs Jon Phipps. It was an (my) army break , it doesn't look like Jon got the +5 for that (published score 10.2 v 9.
.. doesn't make much difference Jon is still in the same position , as are Burton A.
also , did Bryan hand in the score sheet for my game 4 ? the score looks about right. My army broken, for 2 attrition pts out of 12 of his
thanks
Simon

Actually , Paul Fs recalculated points haven't been added to the team point total. If you add missing 38 pts to the total (+5 of Jons for the army break then I make Burton A total = 156 pts which is 3rd place... BUT more importantly leapfrogging Burton B as the highest Buton place !!

Re: Derby World Teams 28/29 September
The Team score does include the 3 players scores as previously corrected (26.8+40.3+45.5 = 112.5).
I've traced the source of the other problem to a scoresheet error. I'll correct it later but it doesn't affect the pool or team placings.

Et tout mes remerciement aussi à notre team (Kévin et John) qui m'ont permis de terminer à la 3ème place par équipe.
And Congratulation at John for his great victory.
