Version 3.0 MAP ZOOM BROKE?

I upgraded to version 3 on the Mac.

Is the map ZOOM function broken? I can only zoom the map to the first two levels. The extreme zoom that allows me to see the details of each counter (unit) on the map no longer seems to work.

The Graphic Quality settings when you launch for the first time needs to be set to HIGH. If you set it to LOW then you only get zoom level 2 & 3.

To change this manually one way is to rename the folder "CEAW Grand Strategy 3.00" in your ~/Documents folder. Restart the game and select the language and Graphic Quality to high. Then at least start a HotSeat Game then quit. Copy over any game files from the renamed folder to the new one and discard the renamed folder.

Another way is to open the file "GS300_settings.txt" in "CEAW Grand Strategy 3.00" folder in ~/Documents and change LOW_RAM to 2 .
