Europe at War Gold Grand Strategy not working

I have been playing commander europe at war for a while and found the grand strategy update today but when I try and start the game I get the slitherine launcher box but when I click ok nothing happens anyone know how to fix this I have had no problems running the orignal game before this

What was your Commander's version before installing?

The same is happening to me. I had 2.1 working.

You might have installed GS 3 in the wrong folder. Uninstall CEAW and GS 2.1. Then reinstall it again.

VPaulus, thank you for your answer: I would like to ask you if you can take the time to guide me step by step; I have already made a mess out of this. If you can I am greatly gratefull.
