I agree with all that Jornetto says. There is nothing to reccommend the electronic format over the paper format at the moment. And a lot to oppose it

Not sure if Abannan reader best represents "the future," though...

While we are wishing, I would suggest the inclusion of a terrain generator, perhaps similar to the PC version, but designed for the TT. This would make game set up faster.

Is the V2 for Android still a possibility or the idea has been definitively abandoned?

Sounds like there isn't even a plan to add some of the basic features to the Mac of PC version either..

I see! Thanks for the answer. A pity, as IMO Android is the ideal support for a set of digital rules. My FOGAM Book is almost new, so the idea of having to buy a second one doesn’t appeal too much to me. (Better not to talk about all those list supplements!) :(

Well it's been almost 12 months since v2 was launched and there is no sign of the regular enhancements that were part of the original digital rationale. I haven't even had a response to my post on the tech support forum a couple of weeks ago. So I think we probably have to accept that v2 is a stranded asset.

Not only that, iOS7 seems to have knackered the e-rules on the one platform they did work on.
Why not just sell a PDF and keep everyone happy?

Heck, even an HTML5 version would be better, IMO. I suspect the answer to "why not" is concerns about DRM. Personally, I think that's a misguided concern, but it still seems to be one for many companies.

And nobody is on the way to rescue it becuase you can't see it in the shops or at the shows.

The updated version was submitted to Apple today with many of the features requested. We don't know how long it will take to review but we hope it will be available before Christmas!

It got rejected unfortunately because Apple didn't understand how the army books integrated to the system and we're trying to find out why but Apple are not being very responsive right now. Sorry for the delay :(

We hope to have more news soon. We're basically done and just waiting for it to work its way through the system.
