Maybe the "Doubles venue information page" on the BHGS site is what you are looking for

http://www.bhgs.org.uk/doubles---venue-information.html

It's Wolvercote, nr Oxford

Sorry, posted a link to the booking form, not the booking site...

Nobody in this day and age has the patience to look for stuff that is not immediately presented. Or at least I don't.

Last year was in Whitney

Bob you are correct. Two weeks ago the events information indicated this event was in Abingdon?

So has this changed ?

Yes it has changed to Whitney which is a bit unfortunate as I have accommodation a couple of miles from the original Abingdon venue!

It's not in Witney, it's in Wolvercote. Witney is another former location.

Actually.... mea Culpa...

In doing some tidying up of the BHGS website earlier this week I mistakenly put the same venue for both doubles events.

The Ancients Doubles IS in Abingdon, at the

Trinity Church Hall
Conduit Road,
Abingdon,
United Kingdom

All corrected now...

Doh :-(

I hope everyone can park in the Conservative Club car park which is just down the road from the Church Hall. I have still to confirm with the Club. There is very limited (nearly nothing) parking on the Street and all the parking at the Hall will be for the organisers. Do not park at the top of the road around Park Road on near Abingdon school as there are strict parking regulations.
