Some thoughts: Nice looking intro. The GUI works fine, the look of it is a bit boring though (the black only part). I would like some camera acceleration and deceleration when scrolling, as it is right now it feels a bit stiff. I would like to be able to select a tech deeper in the tech tree, especially in the beginning when I had new techs every other turn. Production in the city feels a bit boring, to few buildings to choose from and I didn't unlock that many even after one hours play time, I don't have those alluring what should I build decisions (could be because I haven't grasped everything yet and that I should focus on other stuff to build in the early part of the game).
The ingame help needs more content which I imagine is coming, for Civ players it shouldn't be much of a problem to get a hang of it but still nice to have some in-depth info. Can't comment on the audio as I had to play without sound. I am personally not a fan of unit customization so I would love buttons like, "Upgrade to best anti infantry", "Upgrade to best defense against tanks". Not a fan of the humor in the diplomacy conversation but that's just me.
All in all, I look forward to the finished game and will continue playing the beta
