units spawning in Egypt/Libya

When I play as the allies against the AI (GS 2.10) there will be UK units that spawn in Egypt, in addition to the UK units that start the game there, and then at a later point there are German units that spawn in Libya. When I play as the Germans, the UK units will still spawn but I did not get any German spawn. Just wondering if this is as intended or did I do something wrong? Will it be the same in GS 3.0?

Yes, to help AI a little bit some units spawn for AI, but not for a human player.

OK thank you. So the UK units that spawn are for either side but the DAK units are just to help the German AI. I had gotten surprised because I did not manually send any German units to Libya since I was expecting the free spawn. I read somewhere else that units might not spawn correctly if the hex they are supposed to spawn in is occupied. So I was wondering if I had done something wrong.

Trying to get used to all these events so I don't get surprised later. So I guess the UK units would spawn even in an email game? Is there any consolidated place to see a list of all these events and the prerequisites? I know there is some info in the manual but it is not very clear in my opinion.

For any game UK gets 3 naval units + Malta Fighter. German AI gets some units, I do not know if Allied AI gets some free units.
