Derby World Teams 28/29 September
Now that Britcon is behind us the next big event on my calendar is the team event in Derby, so it's time to give things a bit of a prod.
We've revamped the pools following last year's initial event to give more focussed periods. The full details are available here: http://www.worldwargames.co.uk/.
I'm grateful to those teams and individuals who have already told me they are entering, but since the entries don't come directly to me I'd appreciate it if anyone who hasn't done so would let me know so I don't have to start bugging the Derby organisers.

Yes John, that's fine. That will give us a total of 3 individuals so I suppose we should come up with a team name.

Here's what I have been told for definite:
MKWS are returning to defend their title.
2 Burton Teams
2 SELWG teams
Ilford
1 team of 3 individuals (currently without a name)
That's 7 teams so far which is what we had last year. There's another 3 teams that I consider likely which would be great.

Our team name is "To Mediocrity & Beyond"
I will be carrying Dave A after his rather poor performance at Britcon....

Thanks gents, my list was just people who had confirmed to me. There's a couple more that I'd expect but I need to catch up with the organisers to see if there are any surprises.

Hopefully there'll be an Oxford team, cos if Alasdair enters as an individual with you and John, the rest of us will be fighting for 2nd!

Re: Derby World Teams 28/29 September
The latest information is that we currently have 9 teams, the 7 above plus Les Trois Mousquetaires and Central London TMaB. It would be really good if we could get at least one more.
For those of you that are not local, where are you staying? I normally stay with a friend in Derby but he's away so I'm keen to join up with any beer and curry excursion that may be happening on Saturday evening.

Unfortunately the cost has risen too much since you booked.
