I'm game as well - someone needs a first-round win.
I'll go with my Graeco-Bactrians (non-mounted).

Hidde
What ruddy game are they playing?
We are all playing the wrong game LOL.
Pete - The Welsh. Well if I was to use them
a) Would have to be given 400pts for each game
b) Also to know in advance, whom I shall be playing:)
Oh to find proof that they actually wore some armour and were superior (the spearmen that is).
Unfortunately just some linen gear, red I believe.
Wolves from .... will be an interesting army (not). About 4 or 5 cav (dismounting as hf im poot prob superior) a few lf jls/lt spear and the rest protected (somehow the later spears lost their armour) or unproted, mf, undrilled, average, lt spear and sword. Looking forward to using that!!!!
There are a few more intersting armies in Wolves. Charlemagne, fancy an army consisting of sup, arm/prot, off spear? They are all cav but can all dismount, 2 can be sup, arm, bow and sword.

This is true, they are my favourite army!hidde wrote:Morbio wrote:It's Later Seleucid(post166BC) for me too!No need to tell Pete that...it always is!
There is some doubt now whether I will be able to complete as my 2nd PC (with all my Slitherine games installed on it) went 'pop' and I'm now FoGless. I paid for extended cover when I bought the game from Digital River, but it seems I only had 760 days to download

Re: Recruitment is now open!!
This is not the location for this comment, but good point about lack of download support for the original exe of our valid Slitherine/Matrix games (yes, keys are there - just not the programs). I back mine up to multiple locations.Morbio wrote:This is true, they are my favourite army!hidde wrote:Morbio wrote:It's Later Seleucid(post166BC) for me too!No need to tell Pete that...it always is!

Re: Recruitment is now open!!
I am sorry to hear that, Morbio. Recruitment will probably stay open until about 6pm on Saturday 31st August and then I will do the draw and post it on the forum. So you have about 10 days to resolve this problem. Good luck with it.Morbio wrote: There is some doubt now whether I will be able to complete as my 2nd PC (with all my Slitherine games installed on it) went 'pop' and I'm now FoGless. Hidde's comment and Morbio's foglessness
Hi
Apologies Pete for posting stuff not relevant to your tourney but I am a bit concerned.
Ade/Anders what is this thing about a new download or an exe?
Where is the link, if I need to download some new stuff please.
Pete still not sure about choice.
Cheers
Eric

Which Roman army, javi? Can I have the full details please?javi100 wrote:Hi, romans for me.
EDIT: I am going to assume it is Late Republican Roman (Brutus and Cassius) as you have put some practice matches on the system with that army. Please tell me if I have got this wrong.

Re: Hidde's comment and Morbio's foglessness
Good news! I bought and installed a new PSU and my PC is up and running again and all files seem OK, FoG launches and multiplayer connects OK. I did e-mail Slitherine support and they send me links to reinstall and gave optimal instructions too! I'll install FoG on my primary PC so that I have options where to play in future (will reduce fights for a specific PC with the kids). I'm really impressed with Slitherine support - most companies would probably say tough luck... would you like to buy it again? but Slitherine careericdoman1 wrote:Hi
