Restore from backups

I've been having PC problems and recently had to restore my hard drive. Laptop is a Compaq Presario, Windows Vista Home Premium.

I had backup DVDs of my programs, and after the restore I see the Slitherine/BA directory, full of files, but no BA executable I can see, and BA does not appear in my list of installed programs or anywhere in the start menu.

What is my next step? Re-install over the top? Nothing to uninstall, though I *COULD* delete the existing directories... which might mess up the Registry, though.

Adding the files back onto the machine will not "install" the game correctly. I am guessing the lack of an EXE is down to a virus checker or something like that. You are best off reinstalling the game from the installer, otherwise it will almost certainly not work.

OK, what is the process for my to be able to do so?

If you still have your original installer EXE then just run it again on the new machine and enter your serial. If not then email support@slitherine.co.uk with your order details and they can get you a link to a new installer EXE.
