My accurate prediction of Mr Ruddock's sublime dice rolling ability.I have every confidence in Mr Ruddock.

I think more games in the early period completed due to dropping worst score. You (think you) can afford to be more aggressive if you can drop a bad score when your plan goes wrong so play was more open.petedalby wrote:Dropping 1 score from 6 worked well and unless I'm mistaken had the added benefit of nullifying submarining.

Well for a start MR Evans avoided mezoltan wrote:Surely a special mention must go to Graham Evans with a great score over 5 rounds.
I only ask what I'd ask any superstar, what is it that you have got that puts you where you are?
Thanks Tim, And Kev for organizing the event top class.madaxeman wrote:Yep, looks like most people dropped a score that was a right spanking, so it made little overall difference to the total score as hardly anyone dropped more than 5 points, so almost no difference to the overall positions either.
6 people, including Bob and Andy were both "dropping" a "missed round" in the Early period (ie a score of "0"), so they still placed a very healthy 5th and 6th ..

Nice to hear you will be back next year. Although I think Rob Taylor has a cheek talking about bunnies, when in his game against the Mayans he attacked a bunch of MF in rough going with pikemen in order to force a result. There was certainly a result in that game...BrotherCrow wrote:Well, as said the stated bunny in Mr. Evan's first game, it actually worked in my favour - after the 25-Nil slapping he gave me on Friday night, it enabled me to engage the periscope a little, finishing a healthy 15th position in my first Britcon! I even had to wipe away the nosebleed reaching the dizzy heights of 7th before Sundays games...I had two slappings, dished out two slappings, had a healthy winning draw, and a straight 10:10.
Great weekend, and will definitely be back next year.

He didn't attacked in the rought... the Mayans warriors attack the phalanx in the open!dave_r wrote:...
