Help me to reach Arnheim!

You know the famous quote about the "Bridge Too Far" and have probably seen the movie of the same name so often that you don't bother watching it anymore.

Now I need your help to deal with this scenario. After Sicily I made really good progress through Italy and had excessive loads of Prestige (over 20k) in Overlord aaand someone managed to burn so much prestige during Cobra and D-Day that I am now at 6900 Prestige at the star of Market Garden. Talk about being cocksure and getting punished for it! :>

My forces are in extremely good shape, I used elite replacements perhaps too often and now I am anxious about Market Garden.

Any particular hints and advice you want to share with me, maybe even to let the last bridge just stay and go for a minor or so?

(1) Recon is very important. Make sure you know exactly what forces are arrayed to either side of the highway on the other side of the next bridge before crossing it.

(2) Armor and air attack are crucial here, infantry plays a supporting role.

(3) A bridging unit or two will be very helpful. You get one free, as an auxiliary unit. Move it forward as fast as you can.

It was apparently all about bringing tanks quickly enough north, and that worked out. There is an odd bridge/channel bottleneck in Nijmegen, this is where you can get delayed a lot.
