using large icons

Hi all, I just bought the game and I thought it may be better to learn using the basic game before installing GS. Any opinions on that? Or do most noobs just dive right into GS?

Anyway, I really like the large counters. Is there any way to get them into the basic game, without installing all the other changes in GS?

No. Their is code that handles placing the factors on the counters. Plus the names are different. You could try just substituting the images but you will not see
the factors on the counters. You will see the strength number only.

Actually I play the game mostly on the medium zoom level, so I usually don't see the really big counters with all the stats on them. I would just like to see the medium counters, that look like table top game counters with just the unit steps displayed. How would I do that in the vanilla game? Which files need to be copied over?
