A little help please

Hello my name is Richard Regan

Please forgive me if this is wrong of me to post this as I have no clue where to search for this type of information so feel free to delete if required

I am doing this as a surprise for my father who finds "digging up" his history as a hobby so if love to lend a hand in finding out some information on his and my family background.

If anybody could point me in the right direction to links. Websites etc id be most grateful

The information I have so far is

- Edward ( Ted ) Riseam

- Cyril Cooper

Ted was East Yorkshire, Cyril was kings own Scottish borderers

was called up for rear guard at dunkirk, protected the troops getting off the beaches, then back at d-day, ended up in the 8th army in north africa. he was an NCO (non commisioned officer) sergeant in the east yorkshire regiment, i think he was awarded a medal for dunkirk
He was drafted into the guards because he was an nco, and most of the guards nco,s were killed, so they drafted him in to help
Ted went back on d day, ended up in the 8th army in north africa
Cyril did guard duty when the 11th army liberated Bergen belsen


And - Clement sewell
He was 18 when he volunteered, joined the navy and served on HMS Versatile, he did the Russian convoys
Protect the ships from u boats
