The Battle of Hastings (Caldbec Hill variaton) 1066

A version of the Battle of Hastings that suggests the battle actually took place on Caldbec Hill rather than Battle Hill. A very strong case is made for this proposition in "The Battle of Hastings 1066: the uncomfortable truth" by John Grehan and Martin Mace (Pen and Sword, 2012). Play-testing is underway. many thanks to Mark (Turk1964) for help with this one.

The Normans must defeat the English in 20 turns; drawn games are considered English victories as more reinforcements join Harold in the days after the battle.
