"Revisited" scenarios available!
Hi
I have accumulated about 40+ scenarios of my own design, ranging from the Battle of Kadesh up to about 838 AD. All are epic in scale and very detailed.
Anyone interested in playing one of these scenarios please reply below, with army/period preferences...
Happy f.o.gging!

Re: "Revisited" scenarios available!
Nick, if you ever want to provide a list with all the links for your scenarios then I could add it to the "Stickies" section just above your thread. Zeabed and myself have provided comprehensive lists already and any other scenario writer is welcome to do the same.
I am also wondering if there might be some value to providing a comprehensive list of all our scenarios (with links) that we have contributed together, maybe with them listed in date order from ancient times into the medieval period? It would make them all much easier to find and players could compare different versions of the same battle quite readily. Any thoughts?

Re: "Revisited" scenarios available!
I've only tries converting them to zipfiles once [I lost the scenario entirely!] - so while the idea of a comprehensive list is an excellent one, I'd have to learn how to make them available...

Re: "Revisited" scenarios available!
I use j-Zip and Dropbox which are both free (there are others you can use too). So if you wanted to install them I could go through it with you. Basically you use j-Zip to make a zipfile, then you upload that to Dropbox, Dropbox gives it a link which you post on the forum. The original file is safe throughout the process. It is very simple once you have done it a few times.alzado_77 wrote:I've only tries converting them to zipfiles once [I lost the scenario entirely!] - so while the idea of a comprehensive list is an excellent one, I'd have to learn how to make them available...

Re: "Revisited" scenarios available!
OK Nick. I am working today but if you get yourself set up with j-Zip and Dropbox at some stage today then I will post instructions this evening. What you could also do is make a small dummy scenario called "Test", just with the two C-in-C's on the map, and we'll use that for practice so your scenarios are safe. I will be back in by 6pm UK time.alzado_77 wrote:Thanks for that Pete - yes I'd like to take you up on your offer!

Re: "Revisited" scenarios available!
Right, here we go Nick. I may need to clarify a few stages as we go so we might need some patience.
i) To put a scenario on Dropbox
- choose the scenario , right click on "Send To", left click on "Compressed zip folder". A new version of the scenario will appear right at the bottom of your list with "Compressed zipp . . ." at the end of it.
- Go to Dropbox and left click on "Upload" icon, left click on "Choose Files", go to your FOG scenarios and left click on the "Compressed zipp . . ." version of your scenario, click on "Open" and it will upload to Dropbox, click on "Done".
-right click on scenario in Dropbox to get public link and right click to copy the link, right click to paste the link in the forum (or wherever)
ii) To download a scenario from the forum
- left click on the link provided, left click on "Save As" and save it to your "My Documents" section
- right click on scenario and then left click on "Extract All" , Select Destination as "My Documents" - "Slitherine" - "FOG scenarios", Click "OK" then click "Extract". File will appear in Scenario folder and will be ready to play.

Re: "Revisited" scenarios available!
Yes, big map, arid terrain, and just 2 commander units.

If you want to add all the links to your list of scenarios and post them separately in a new thread then I can add it to the "stickies" alongside zeabed's and my stuff.
