Cannot Update

Hi folks

CEAW finally arrived today, which installed fine. Ran it, its version 1.0. Ok, I saw on the threads that in October v 1.04 was released (I guess i got an old cd). Anyway, I tried the autoupdate - no dice, couldnt get the file from matrix games. Tried to get it from this website, which sends me ot their FTP - which times out.

Ok, got it from Slitherine. Ran it in the directory I installed the game - e:\games\commeurope - and it says


'This is an Add On Installer - the Directry does not contain the target appllcation'


Now, I've installed a zillion updates, and understand the windows file system pretty well. It most certainlyIS the directory where the game is installed.

Can anyone shed some light on what needs to be done to update properly?

Are you sure you're trying to install the correct patch? There are different ones for Slitherine and Matrix version of the game.
