First impressions

Thank you for the opportunity to test the game.

First 5 mins spent downloading, took only 10 mins to download install and patch.
After 30 mins of game time, felt like I was playing CIV V 2.0, I really enjoyed CIV games so I had no issues but did not see much changes, until the operations came along and I truly like the concept. The visuals in the game and intro are fantastic, sound is a bit clunky, not sure if its the music or a driver thing. I enjoy the city placement of people, no fuss. I also enjoy the workshop so you can develop troops with certain strategies in mind. The research tree seems short but as you develop it gets longer, not sure how long yet. The alien life forms don't seem hostile enough, maybe different setting or the fact I am not attacking them? After an hour the difficulty does not seem very challenging. Unless your up against one of the powerful sea creatures. Diplomacy seems generic, but works. Overall I enjoy the game although very similar to CIV V it has its own characteristics that allow it to differ, if only slightly.
