Dan's Dog Fight - July 20, 2013

Dan Henderson and SMAC are pleased to announce the first ever Dan’s Dog Fight on July 20, 2013, in Gautier, MS.

Tournament Rules
1. 3 round event with rounds being 2 hours 45 minutes plus 2d6+3 minutes of random time.
2. Lists may not have more than 700 points.
3. 5x3 tables will be used with normal deployment zones and terrain.
4. FOG V2 Rule book and current FAQ will be used. All judge's rulings are final.
5. Any army book in print is available.
6. Lists are due by midnight July 12 to the referee, Dan Henderson at  d_n_henderson@bellsouth.net;   Late lists allow opponent to choose terrain type before initiative is rolled.
7. We will use the Austin, TX, "pistol start" method.
8. When time is called, players will finish the phase.

There will be a $10 entrance fee..( $5  venue door fee and a $5 Tourney fee).

Doors Open—Registration---8:30
Round 1---9:00 -12 Noon
Lunch Break---12:00-12:15*
Round 2---12:15-3:15
Round 3---3:30-6:30
Winners---6:45

Gautier Convention Center
2012 Library Lane, 
Gautier, MS 39553

The Convention Center is adjacent to the campus of MS Gulf Coast Community College, and is next door to the Gautier Public Library.
* This is a unique games day tourney format and as such will feature continuous play throughout the day.  Facilities including snack bar are provided to support the continuous play. The early hour of the tournament end allows for dinner afterwards or early drive home.

Most Generals killed: Gino Agnelly with 3.1 or 4.1 depending on who is telling the story.

Due to scheduling conflicts, SMAC's Average Joe IV will not be held in August. Ricky is looking at October with the collapse of FOG in Baton Rogue (i.e. No FOG at Gisclair this year).

The next tournament on the GCC circuit will be HUBCON September 14 & 15 in Hattiesburg, MS. This will be a theme event and I am leaning towards a chariot theme. Updates will be coming soon.
