Stoke Challenge- UK Comp 14th JULY 2013

I can now confirm all the Details for this (Moderators: please make this sticky)

Stoke Chalenge

This will be held as last year at:
Territorial Army Centre (02 Field Hospitial (V))
Waterloo Road
Cobridge
Stoke on Trent
Staffordshire
ST6 3HJ


The format for this competition will be FoG A&M v.2 15mm, 650pts on 5 by 3 foot tables.

Cost £8 per player

Game duration is 2 hrs 30mins per game (+/- 10 Mins), players complete current phase on the call of time by the umpire.
Compulsory terrain must go on table, and then it is 2 to 3 pieces per player. Deployment as per rules, (this will allow LH to attack straight away).

Registration 8:45 -9:15am

Game 1- 9:30-12 noon

Then.... lunch and shopping at trade stands (this can be shorter if players want to finish earlier)

Game 2- 13:00-15:30pm

Game 3- 15:45 until 18:15

Prize giving at 18:30

Runners So Far for Stoke Challenge- 14th JULY 2013

I'm not naming the lists just yet, just in case I get another couple of entries, I'll do that on Friday.
So far I have lists from:
Paul Longmore
Robert Taylor
Leslie Mitchel
Phil Powell
Matt Poole

Me if needed to make up the numbers

Was that based on your knowledge of who won last year Spike? LOL

Phil kindly filled me in on that rule after last years event.

With the group we have we should hold the competition in Manchester, much less travelling time. LOL

Double thanks from me Spike both for organising it and for forgoing your Swiss as 50% Swiss might have been a bit much.

I think I am starting to get the hang of them now. :D
