Expansions?

I've bought two of the expansions for Battle Academy. The files for each one were 258,981 kb and 349,912 kb. When you run the exe file to install the expansions, it doesn't install anything! You just get the message that you are up to date. I can access the expansions without any problems. Apparently nothing is installed, just un-locked. If that's the case, why are the files so large?

We need to provide all the files that an expansion might need, in case (e.g.) someone downloaded only 1.6 and hasn't updated since
