That doesn't work, you've got to be related or married to avoid someone completely. Having the same name is not enough!

Re: Britcon 2013
Thanks for clearing that up Kevin. At least I now know that I can't face my two bro's!

No disrespect to anyone but marriage is out of the questionkevinj wrote:That doesn't work, you've got to be related or married to avoid someone completely. Having the same name is not enough!
now back to armies so we have a large cavalry army mine, a large foot army with musket nigels covenanters, a superbly painted foot army with bows by Simon painted in a ridiculously quick time and still looking stunning, what else is there out there
Cheers
Alasdair
Re: Britcon 2013
Hmmmm, I suppose a civil partnership is out of the question then...
One more list now in - large numbers of pedestrians using antique weapons, cobbled together from very antique figures.

Re: Britcon 2013
Civil Partnership, interesting thought, spot the London boys we don't have those things in the sticks
OH NO
I feel another scarey extremely large Dave Allen army coming out to play and how antique are these weapons is the question, either way I don't want to play it, unfortunately Nigel your army might not be the largest out these
cheers

Double entendres from the master, what joy!alasdair2204 wrote: I feel another scarey extremely large Dave Allen army coming out...
Despite Alasdair's lurid imagination, the reality is more prosaic - I suspect that with only 10 BGs I will be fielding one of the smaller armies.
"Can you guess what it is yet?"

Re: Britcon 2013
I forecast Dave will be sticking with his Roll Call army - Later Imperial Austrian using the Landsknects with shot wings!!

Re: Britcon 2013
3 wide landknects plus the swordsman and shot on the wings means that musket and bows shoot at them as armoured and therefore on a -POA at long range - and with13 bases in the first 3 ranks needs 5 hits to take a CT.

You know me too well Don.
Anyone else ready to offer up outrageously simple clues about their intentions?

If I could make up my mind as to what I was using I would only be too happy to give a clue. Unlikely to involve camels though.
Might have a better idea after my game with Hunter Hope tonight. He has definitely made up his mind. He has followed his usual regime of intensive army research before copying someone else's army composition exactly.Aye Tim Porter's site has a lot to answer for!!
