No luck with this at all on MBA under Mountain Lion.
Enter Serial number, Done----> Crash
Deleted the previous .ser file as instructed elsewhere - this was from Husky - which also crashed on load.
As reported before on another thread, my original BA also crashes on load now - in fact its disappeared altogether from Launchpad, being replaced by the Beta Icon. It still exists in the Applications folder but it crashes on running.
Something somewhere ain't right :p

Re: BA - Rommel - crashes on run
Try deleting all the .ser files, then using the ORIGINAL game to re-enter any serial numbers (except for the Rommel beta serial). Then use the beta to enter the Rommel serial. You should then be running fine. Note you have to run the two versions as the same user.

Re: BA - Rommel - crashes on run
Hi,
Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately it all hinges on being able to enter a serial code for the BA original. As I mentioned once before on another thread, the Op.Husky beta somehow blew that away, leaving me unable to play the Mac OS BA original or the Husky Beta.
Trying to install the Rommel expansion I am still in the same predicament:
My choices are :
(1) Enter the Rommel code, which it gladly excepts but crashes on running
(2) Trying to register my original BA of which I have no idea whatsoever of the serial code. All I can tell you is it was purchased directly from your website and I can give you my name and type of card used for the purchase.
I don't mind that I can't run the beta, although I would love to help, but it is a bit of a pain to have lost access to my Mac OS BA.
(I still have the iPad version to play, however – in fact I had no choice but to buy that too, as I gave up with the Mac OS version)
Regards

Re: BA - Rommel - crashes on run
Is there a BBCBA.TXT file in your ~/Documents/My Games/BBCBA folder? Is so this should contain your main game serial. Once you have it, delete the ~/Documents/My Games/BBCBA folder and then reinstall in order as above. That should get you up and running again.

Re: BA - Rommel - crashes on run
You will need to find your serial in some way. I would suggest emailing support@slitherine.co.uk with your order details and an explanation that you have misplaced your serial email.
