Amendment - Division minimums and maximums

Post by KeefM »

Following Brett's line of flagging things for official amendments:

1. Cavalry Divisions only require a minimum of two units of cavalry (and not three units in total). This has been stated (and restated) here on the forum a number of times now. So, can that now be please added into official amendments ?

2. Also, given the continuing number of forum questions around minima and maxima for 'allied' or stand-alone divisions, can this be re-stated in an official amendment/clarification please? Adding something to the relevant sections in the army list books along the lines of: "In effect, this means that where a list minimum of less than 6 is specified for infantry and cavalry bases, then minimum required to be fielded is 0 and the list maximum is halved. For artillery, where the list minimum is less than 3, the minimum required to be fielded is 0 and the maximums are halved. Conversely, where infantry or cavalry minimums are 6 or more, or artillery minimums are 3 or more, then the actual minimum required to be fielded is 1 small unit of each type with those minimums and the normal list maximums remain unchanged." Or similar.

Unless, of course, individual lists specify something different.
