Thx for the fix!
I needed the multiple select feature because i like to copy the table and use it on Excel.

One question about the experience bonus. ¿Does it follow the 1.20 rules (class specific) or the old 1.14?

I've already seen the presence of the exp.pzdat file. been editing it to reflect the old bonuses because i'm with 1.14 rules at this moment.

On the other hand, i've spotted a litle glitch. There's no way to create or update a unit with this artillery equipment: sig(38)t M. If you save and reload then the equipment is "None" or the previous one.
Actually, i can live with it, the Sturmpanzer I has the same stats expect fuel capacity.
Also, it seems that the scenario names on the list won't update until you edit anything or save/reload the file.

Edit: Ok going to fix the scenario name issue. As for that sIG... meh... that equipment has a space at the end of its name in the equipment file. my tools treats that as a broken equipment name ... grml... ok, I'm gonna fix that in the tool, it'll now trim such names automatically. Grml. I'm personally considering this a Slitherine bug btw

I cannot easily implement that for you, because depending on where you copy the tool it might not have write access there. Also you only need to to this once. also I don't like to write unofficial fan tools that write stuff to your hard disk. In my experience people prefer fan made tools to be as non-intrusive as possible.

I need help with installing the Dossier Tool.
Not being the brightest bulb in the chandelier when it comes to PCs I’m floundering a bit.
I downloaded, to my desktop, the Dossier file from the 'Download Here' link on the forum message from KeldorKatarn , dated Jul 9th 2013, page 6 of the forum topic and extracted it into a folder, also on the desktop which contained a ‘contents’ sub folder. So far so good!
Next I tried to copy all the necessary files from the Game folder to the contents folder and that’s where my troubles began..
This is how things went. I was able to copy these files, I hope, to the ‘contents’ folder, ‘sub folder’ as appropriate.

I’m using Win XP with two HDDs ‘C’ and ‘D’. All my games are on drive ‘D’. Not sure what to do next to get it up and running, i.e. should the dossier folder be in the game folder or on the same drive even. Advice please but keep it simple.

Where the tool is located is completely irrelevant. however it needs that strings.pzdat file and it should be present. I don't see how the game would run without it.

Alternatively you might want to check in [Panzer Corps]\Localization\{Your Language Code]\Data

Found the 'strings' file in the localization folder though I only have German, Russian and French languages there. I presume that that will not matter. Can't understand why a 'search' for the file did not find it though. Per Ardua Ad Astra.

Well of course it will matter.. the english version is in the Data folder. If you don't have it there... that would be VERY strange. After all the game itself uses it. If you use the german file then the tool will show you stuff like medal names in german...

is there a read me on how to use this app?
Ive coppied the entire UI and data folders to the DT content folder.
When I open the DT there is nothing there... or Im completely lost.
I believe I have Net 4.0 but not sure, and dont know how to check that either
Any help appreciated
