Rommel: 2nd Mission - German Tanks vs. Canadians

I played through this mission. Very enjoyable.

All ACH's accomplished except that I did lose a Panther.

I did take all 8 objectives.

I rate this on the difficulty scale as a 7. I took the last objective on the last turn.

I note that the Archers seem to be able to respond (turn and fire) a bit too often. I lost 2 tanks in one turn and the Archer got off another shot on my Panther. I was thinking that SP Guns/Fixed turret vehicles should be less able to turn and shoot ...

No bugs, no graphic problems. Enjoyed the armor. I think that the next play through would be a piece of cake as I now know where the Canadians are. I would suggest that if the unit are no "unfixed" that that be done and mix up the placement so that no two scenarios play alike.

I left one thing out ... there were no Parachutes from paratroopers inland from the Canadian beach (Juno). This would have been further east and south on the right flank of the British landing sites (inland from Sword). Not a huge issue but just remembered that I had seen them and that they looked funny being there.

To clarify, did the achievements work as expected or did you receive the "Lose no Panthers" achievement despite losing one?

I did not get the ACH and thus it was NOT checked off at the end of the mission AND the UI display correctly said FAILED once I lost a Panther. Everything looked fine.
