Hi Ray,

as we explained in our e-mails to you your order has been dispatched. It is in the system and the Royal Mail will deliver it as soon as they can.

Nearly all the Amazon US orders placed via my website have been shipped this week, so I guess they have shipped pretyt much everything.

April 28th definately sounds like you have asked them to combine your rules & first 2 lists in an order with one of the lists that isn't published until, well, April 28th.

I'd recommend you go into your Amazon account and change the delivery options to "deliver when stuff is ready, I'll pay a little more for postage" - or even delete your order for the Late Roman and/or Persian wars lists and they should ship the rules and first 2 lists to you for free immediately.

For what it's worth, I ordered from Amazon US on January 8th, received notice that my order had shipped on February 16th, and received the package today (Feb. 19).

Haven't had a chance to read them yet (still at work), but they may just be the best looking rulebooks I've ever seen. Nicely done. :)

FoG En Route

Post by trooper »

I received a much anticipated message from Amazon today letting me know that the FoG rules and two armly list books were en route. I guess I won't sleep much the next few nights in anticipation.

Geez its like people can't go to the bathroom until they get their rules.

I haven't seen this many wargamers panting for a release since....

Greetings

Seems the Royal Mail (or other shipping body) are still hanging onto my order from Amazon - but as the (unrelated) order was due yesterday and arrived today I am hoping that FoG (due today) will arrive tomorrow.

I won't really get time to read the rules before Friday anyway so the exact receipt date is a bit moot. I am looking forward to them though.

Well I have recieved my Rise of Rome. Awesome.

I love it, my only complaint is that after page 72 I was done, and had to start drooling on it a second time.

The rule book is due in another day or two and I can't wait to start converting the local DBM'ers.

Got FOG manual and Storm of Arrows this morning and have been reading all day. I see that Eternal Empire for the Ottomans is due in September. I can hardly wait! Everything looks great!

Thanks Osprey and Slitherine :D

Still no rules or lists. Oh well.

Today I ended up ringing Amazon who said the delivery agent (TNT) had been late delivering to Royal Mail in that they had only done so yesterday (i.e. a week after despactch by Amazon) so unsurprisingly it hasn't arrived yet and may not arrive until Monday. Wonderful. Mind you it's the first time Amazon has been really late with anything I've ordered.

Of course 10 minutes after talking to Amazon the postman turns up with the rules and lists :) . They look really nice at first look - I'll get a chance to start reading later. I do notice that to read them comfortably I'll need my glasses but that is more a comment on my sight than the rules.
