What happened to Victory Conditions?

I started the Gustav Line Defense scenario. It said something like hold the line. That was it. Once it was my turn, I opened the message window, but there is no information there - I thought you got victory conditions there. I searched this forum for 'victory conditions' and got the return that it was in the message window.
So where does one find victory conditions within the game, and what are the victory conditions for the Gustav Line? "Hold" equals how many cities?

I am playing with the latest download of the complete game, including all DLCs.

I tried to follow your steps, started Gustav Line, and opened the message screen, and I got the info? What did it show on your screen?

absolutely nothing. Empty. No scenario message! I also have one MOD loaded, GTPG Grand Campaign_Handpick_v1.10. I'd send a screenshot, but it would be of nothing!
Don't know what else to tell you. (Win 7 pro, quadcore Athlon, 4GB mem, Invidia 560 so I doubt it's anything in the hardware.)

You need to disable all Mods before installing any patch or update.

Then it should appear.

i did that. I installed the mega update and then days later installed the mod.
