Save Game Subfolders

I'm guessing this must have been bought up at some point but just in case not, is there any way of having save game subfolders? I am a prolific saver and end up with huge numbers of files which I clear down every so often but normally keep Post Deploy and last turn for every episode of the GC. With AK and now AC I'm getting more and more files and noticing it actually takes time to respond when I click Load Game before the list appears.

I would also be nice to be able to organise them, ie by Campaign/Year etc as I have switched back and forth meaning my AK ones were scattered amongst my GC ones.

I have created folders myself but then can't see them within the game which is a shame.

Yeah the more save games you have the longer the load screen will take. As far as I know there is no way for the game accessing subfolders directly so you probably need to follow your approach creating those folders yourself and copy the files manually in case you need that particluar save.

Might be an option for a future patch. Good point. The game of course needs to enumerate the files in the folder, so the more are in there the longer it takes. But even then there's options to turn that process into a more asynchronous one, maybe using paging or other techniques. I'm sure the dev(s) can come up with something if enough people agree that this might be an issue and nice thing to have.
