Colonizer

It's probably something stupid I'm overlooking, but what does it take to have a Colonizer as an option in Production? I've been reading through other posts and I can't find that anyone else is having this problem. After the first couple of turns the Colonizer disappears from my production options and never returns. I've gotten to play some fairly lengthy games at this point, at least lengthy enough to reasonably expect the Colonizer to return, but no dice.

It has probably just been changed to something. I have done this by accident a number of times. You are changing a item forget your on the colonizer and boom it is gone. To get it back, just hit new, doesn't matter what it is on. Whatever it is on, will now be doubled. Just go to the dropdown box and select colonizer. Add there you have it back!
