First Impression

Game install easy and can be handled by anyone, not to difficult I mean.
Game play the first 30 minutes is good, no big gripes just some minor tweaks. The research trees need a little more information on which direction they are taking you. I would prefer a drag and pull into production Que instead of clicking, if you are used to double clicking you end up sending 2 of everything.
Very nice graphics
I will give a bigger update after a few hours of play.

Fun game, installed no problem, game play no problems yet(67 turns in). Can't really tell about AI yet. GUI needs some work, especially new unit creation, renaming units not very intuitive. Also, like Krewed, I feel the research tree needs to reflect more direction, as in weapons vs production with more detail. But otherwise a much better experience than I anticipated.

First off I want to say I was very excited when I saw the trees sway on the main screen, It may just be me but that subtle thing was just a bonus. I like little things like that.

I have played for about a 2 hours, the game play is fun. The tech tree still bothers me, it seems that it changes for each game you start. I started several games and it was different for each. I may be wrong but it seems that the tree paths are random and do not follow a set pattern every time.
The AI seems to be very ruthless when you begin and the aliens find you but plays really well when you find other human civilizations. The only complaint on the AI is that the humans all seem to go straight to ruins and undefended cities, while you have to search. It is like their isn't a fog of war for the AI.
Again the single click on the production screen bothered my double click personality. Drag and drop would work so much better. Also why can't new vehicle automatically be added to the production list instead of clicking new and then configuring the new vehicle.
The game seems to take on more of my computer resources than a normal game. I am going to monitor this to see if I am correct.

Now that I have the game down, I will start a few different games and see how they play for each group.

Thanx for the feedback, and you are right the tech tree is random, the reason for this is that we want "exploring the unknown" to be a theme in the game and this should extend to how the tech tree works as well, but we will add a option to turn the random tech tree feature off.
