Allied Contigent

Post by Atkins »

Hi

I am sure this is in the rules some where, Underlined, in Bold and CAPITALISED. But can I find it!

My question, what are the limitations of the size of Allied Contingents? Or more to the point where is it written down. I can not see for looking.

Thanks in advance

Each army listed in the accompanying army lists has details of the permitted ally(s) for this army, if any. You then reference the army list of the permitted ally seperately to see what BG's are available when using this ally contingent.

Hope this makes sense.

Thanks, got it, the allies are listed separately. I did not notice that.

Thanks

One other relevant rule is that a no more than 3 BG can flank march on a given side, and that an Allied contingent that flank marches must all flank march on the same side and with no other BGs.
The consequence of this is that a Allied Contingent of more than 3 BGs can't flank march.
