First Start

Version 0.14.3 - 0.14.5
After installing the game version 0.14.3 updates till 0.14.5 were detected and automatically installed: this worked very well.
After the first start the game freezes after choosing "New game". I have Zone Alarm installed and suppose it blocked the initializing of the server. Unfortunately I was not able to switch to the Zone Alarm-Message to stop blocking Pandorra - and was also not able to switch to any other programme by using ALT-TAB OR CTRL-ALT-DEL. Only after the restart of Windows I could agree the Zone Alarm-Message to allow Pandorra and now it starts without any problem.

Playing for about 10 minutes and I'm highly motivated to play longer. Managed to build the first city, to research first technologies, discover the first alien lifeforms (perhaps I should try to destroy them?) and created the first former. My first impression is that the game feels well but, my first observation is that the cooler of my two year old laptop (i740 Quad core) is running all the time. Seems the game needs a lot of power.

After playing more than a hour I wonder why game is still in Beta - anything so far looks fantastic.
Fought the first combat, researched more technologies and wonder now, how I can get a new city. Also wonder why I have a Seeker ATV but not able to build another one (choose University at the beginning).

A first conclusion:
- the tooltips are valuable and helpful, even if there is no manual or tutorial the game is playable for newbies
- the game handling is intuitive and self-explanatory, even if I first missed the Seeker ATV in the workshop
- the UI is clear and useful, if somebody played a similiar game he can play Pandorra easily
- the graphics are nice and well done
- I like the game
