Are we allowed to beta test multiplayer?

Post by jhkrischel »

I was thinking about installing Pandora Beta into a few VMs to simulate a multiplayer setup...will that trigger some sort of "license code used too many times" error if I use my beta license code on both machines?

Well, tried on a Windows 8 Professional VM (running on OSX host with VMware Fusion 5.0.3), and it wouldn't let me put in the beta key - the initial updater looked a bit funky too, with missing text:

Looks like I get essentially the same effect with Windows 7 Professional VM as well :(

Well, that's virtual machines. Hardware acceleration usually doesn't work.
