First of all, in a multiplayers game it would be interessting that a final message appears to know who wins the battle. I'm never sure of the result of a battle. It let me... perplexed

Second point : for both modes (solo and multiplayers), it would be very nice to acess to a layer of informations, sticked to the map (as line of sight), where it would be possible to draw circles, lines, arrows, crosses with different colors.
For exemple, it would allow players to remember where ennemy fires have been shot (red circles), what arreas have been scouted (green zones), the directions the player planed (blue arrows), the suspected ambush areas (red cross). solo game, it happens I didn't play for days and I forget where ambush fires are. The size of the signs should differ proportionnaly to the precision of the information
("Sir, ennemy fire came from there.
- From where does it come ?
- From there. Or maybe from here... this area." He draws a red circle on the map.
Etc.).
This layer should be an info layer just for the player, not for his foe. It could be completed with small text boxes to precise the nature of units suspected (Inf., tanks, art.).
These informations would be removed or actualized by the player when he want, all along the game.
In a cooperation mode, it would be helpfull if this layer of information could be shared as a map marked with troups movement drawn on it. The commander in chief, or the other players (of the same side) could give advices and the directions, the tactical points to take, etc.
The design of the drawings could be in the BA style, I mean between cartoon and reality. LIke drawn with coloured pencils, a bit draft.
